Configure Telegram

You can connect an AilaFlow user chat to Telegram, allowing the user to interact with AilaFlow directly from the Telegram app. Each user requires a separate Telegram configuration.

Telegram can be configured for a user in either of these places:

• An administrator can open Users, select @user, and open the Telegram section. The administrator should complete the setup together with the selected user: the user creates their bot through BotFather and helps complete the chat-linking steps described below.
• A user can open My configuration and then the Telegram section.

Set up a Telegram bot

Create a bot with BotFather, add its API token to AilaFlow, and then connect the user’s Telegram chat.

1. Open the official @BotFather chat in Telegram.
2. Send /newbot, then choose a display name and a unique username ending in bot.
3. Copy the HTTP API token returned by BotFather.
4. In AilaFlow, select Add bot, choose the AilaFlow channel, paste the token into Bot token, and save.
5. Select Connect Telegram in the saved bot row, then select Start in Telegram to link the chat.

Keep the bot token private. Anyone with the token can control the bot.
