Install with npm

AilaFlow requires Docker to be installed on your system.

Start AilaFlow with:

npm install -g @ailaflow/cli
ailaflow serve

Then open:

http://localhost:2048/install

and follow the installation steps.

After logging in, open Configuration. AilaFlow will show you what still needs to be configured, including AI access and the public URL used to make your workspace accessible externally.

Run as a long-running service

Use PM2 to keep AilaFlow running in the background, restart it after failures, and restore it after a system restart.

Install PM2 and start AilaFlow:

npm install -g pm2
pm2 start ailaflow --name ailaflow -- serve

Configure PM2 to start with the system:

pm2 startup

Run the command printed by pm2 startup, then save the current process list:

pm2 save

Update AilaFlow

You do not need to stop or remove the PM2 service before updating. Install the latest AilaFlow version, then restart the existing process:

npm install -g @ailaflow/cli@latest
pm2 restart ailaflow
