How AilaFlow works
AilaFlow is a collaborative low-code workspace. Administrators build processes; users and AI execute them through shared Human-AI interfaces.
Workspace roles
| Role | What they do |
|---|---|
| Administrator | Builds processes, forms, scripts, tables, sandboxes, integrations, and permissions. |
| User | Starts available processes, completes tasks, and works with a personal AI assistant. |
| AI agent | Performs a configured process step using approved variables, processes, and tools. |
Processes connect the workspace
A process is an administrator-defined workflow. It can combine:
- Human tasks and approvals
- AI agent steps
- Forms for desktop and mobile
- Node.js scripts and npm packages
- Shared persistent tables
- Other AilaFlow processes
- External APIs and business systems
Every execution has its own temporary variable state. A process reads inputs, runs its steps, and optionally returns selected variables as its result.
Human-AI interfaces
The same process can be used through different interfaces:
- A user asks their AI assistant to perform an available action.
- A user opens an administrator-created HTML form.
- A process pauses and assigns a task to one or more users.
- A return form lets a user continue a repeated workflow.
The interface changes, but the underlying process, permissions, and data rules remain the same.
Permission-aware execution
Administrators control which users or groups can access each process. Sensitive actions can remain human-only. An AI assistant can only use processes available to the current user.
When a request could match multiple processes, the user assistant asks the user to choose. It does not start a process based on an uncertain match.
Isolated code execution
Scripts and integration code run in isolated sandboxes. A sandbox can contain Linux tools, Node.js dependencies, and secrets without exposing the host or other sandboxes directly.
Use /data for files that must survive container replacement. Files outside /data are temporary.
